This creamy fruit dip recipe was a big hit at a summer party my Mother-in-Law threw for my bridal shower and I got the recipe from her so I could share it.  A few weeks later I was having some girls over for a small pot luck to ease my premarital jitters and I made her recipe. Needless to say it was a big hit with several of the women asking me for the recipe in emails over the course of that month!
Today I made it for a Fathers Day BBQ and once again more people wanted the recipe (including my brother's Mother-in-Law to be! Thus the title!) so now I have decided to share this quick and easy recipe on my baking blog!  Thanks Karen (my Mother-in-Law) for the recipe and Katie for the hand made ceramic server in the picture!

The ingredients alone sound wonderful. I think I may have to pick up some marshmallow fluff so that I can try this out.

I like to use orange juice or lemon juice in stead of the vanilla. I love this recipe!

What a sweet mil you have! Just the cream cheese and whipped marshmallow makes for a great fruity dip as well.

My mother-in-law made this for me and my wife last Valentine's Day...we ate a whole huge bowl of it in about an hour. It's like heaven.

This recipe looks delicious! I make a berry tart that this would go great on top of the same way whip cream would be used. I love a good dip I can use with strawberries instead of doing the traditional fruit salad whenever I'm asked to bring fruit to the family gathering. Thanks for sharing this recipe! Congrats on the marriage as well!

I would be careful using a cirtus with the cream cheese because it may cause it to curdle. But otherwise, this sounds HEAVENLY.

do you whip the whipping cream before, or just pour in the liquid?

So simple and so delicious - especially in the summer! I took this to a neighbor's house and the kids loved.
